"I was diagnosed as insulin resistant 7 years ago when my A1C was 6.2. The unfortunate part of this is that the doctor has this documented in my medical chart as Type II diabetes making it impossible for me to ever get an individual or private insurance policy without going on the State insurance program.
Also, after attending classes at the International Diabetes Center , I was in complete denial because my readings were so low compared to everyone else in the class. I had read that if you “didn’t put the brakes on and clean up your act” that you would be officially diabetic within 10 years. Yep, “they” were right.
In the next few years my A1C gradually went up until I finally hit the dreaded 7.2 number. I decided right then and there to do something about this on my own. I refused to take Metformin. I searched the Internet and stumbled on your site one year ago and am happy to report that my current A1C is 6.0 using DB Care, diet and exercise.
I have been told that if I can get my A1C under 6.0 for 2 years, the doctor will remove the Type II diabetes diagnosis from my chart. That is my goal! More than anything I want to prove to my doctor that this can be done."

My husband, a type II, was diagnosed seven years ago. His glucose had been 200-215 on Amaryl and Actos and the doctor said he has to take insulin.

I got on the net and looked up alternatives and found DBcare, the main ingredient being bitter melon, used for hundreds of years in India and China.
